Random thought: Can Dorell Wright play PF?

I haven't seen this guy play and he's listed as a GF, but the guys rebounds like a freak and blocks shots. I hear he really's 6'10". He had a breakout game yesterday 19pts, 17rebs, 2 blks. stats

Kings get:
Jasan Williams 8.9
Smush Parker 2.2* (trade after Dec 15)
Dorell Wright 2.0
Plus a 2nd draft pick (or a 1st if the Petrie can convince them that Dorell's a fluke.)

Miami gets:
Mike Bibby 13.5

Why Miami does this, AMiller is available, but Bibby's shots better and would help them spread the floor better.

Why Miami doesn't, AMiller is cheaper and better rebounder.

not a PF, i guess you could put him there against certain match ups.. IE, against orlando if htey have brian cook as PF.

he's one of the players i've been hoping petrie would make a move for. the guy has potential. hes uber athletic and could be the answer at the 3 position long term. hes's only like 22 or 23 yr old and has a few years in the league under his belt.

I like Wright as well, but you have to look at every game as a double-edged sword; whenever a player does well, yes that increases their trade value, but also may force that team to trust that player more and end up keeping him. With how desperate the Heat are and with their 4-15 record, they are clearly looking for answers and mixing and matching their lineups, and with Wright's breakout game they may not even look into trading him now.

Wright has been an enigma throughout much of his tenure in the league, being capable of exploding with rebounds, steals and blocks but also capable of being passive for long stretches where he becomes offensively deficient. His strengths are clearly unique though, almost Josh Smith-esque, so many teams would jump the gun to have a player like him. If someone can really tap into him, he can be special. But we seriously need to unload a swingman to get him...otherwise we'd just produce yet another glut in our roster. Perhaps Garcia...we don't really need scoring as much as defense, and his versatility and shotblocking skills are already covered by Wright.

He is listed at 6'9" but he really looks to be more of a Francisco Garcia type of build. I don't know about PF, I am sure in a small ball lineup he do alright.
