Rambis FIRED

There's no way they'd keep the triangle around with Rubio coming in.

They should never have tried it even without him. Rambis really failed there. And as much as anything he failed by just slavishly carrying the triangle on his back as if its the only system he knew. Looked very minor league. Like an assistant coach caretaker for the system rather than a qualified head coach able to adapt and lead.

Of course Kahn got to fail too by not firing him until the day before the draft, and now talking about adding a college coach and just...idiot.

Kahn is an idiot, no question. But to be fair, there were rumblings that he wanted to fire him earlier, but Glen Taylor as it turns out is as much of a cheapass as the Maloofs are and didn't want to pay for two coaches, especially while heading into a lockout.

Good news. He was a terrible coach and the triangle just did not work for the players they have. Just stick to the basics and let Rubio play loosely.
