Rajon TERMINATOR Rondo

There are no freaking questions.

Doug Christie says with Rondo rolling he'd like to see him get 40 minutes each night. I guess assumption would be that Curry gets 5-8 minutes until DC back. Rondo routinely played around 40-42 minutes in his Boston days. He can do it again and probably takes challenge gladly to show he's as great a floor leader as ever.

Still wish Karl did the old pull him with 1:30 left in the first and 3rd trick, just so he gets SOME kind of a breather during the game. But hey, can't really complain with a monster triple double!

as I stated in the other thread
DeRozan for Rondo trade in my fantasy league makes me looking like Divac of the fantasy world
He was a free agent in my league and im kicking myself for not picking him up. For some reason I couldn't convince myself to drop Michael Carter Williams. Freaking hell.

Based on the fact that Rondo has played the entire 48 for the last two games without even gasping for breath or resting on his knees, his conditioning and stamina is top notch.

He's in great shape but he's completely coasting defensively.

Collison and Curry cant come back soon enough. I'd rather have a locked in two-way Rondo for 32-35 min than one playing 48 who is a ghost defensively. We've already seen what Rondo can do on defense, just ask Steph Curry.

I thought he put out a pretty consistent defensive effort last night. Certainly there were times that he was being matched up against the 2-guard to give him an easier cover for a while but if he's gotta go 48 minutes that seems standard. There were some offensive possessions in the second half where he just flat quit moving - in one he stood almost directly underneath the basket for about ten seconds. But I'm not going to worry about that kind of stuff unless he does it in games where he's playing 30 minutes.

I remember the one where he simply stopped near the basket... I just figured he was anticipating a potential 10th rebound for his triple-dub.

I'm surprised that some people are qualifying their attaboys for a guy who played 48 minutes in two straight games when the bench was short-handed, and delivered two triple doubles in a week.

Don't need any "buts" or "what abouts" or "if only's" in this thread. Dude beasted this week. P E R I O D ... period

It was definitely the right call. Rondo was powering the Kings offense for most of the game, and if that means a sacrifice on defense then so be it for the time being. I'm just looking forward to seeing a locked-in Rondo on defense again, and you kinda need a backup for that

EXACTLY.

I remember in the recent past when our entire backcourt could not muster a total 8 assists per game - you know, the days when we had maybe the weakest backcourt in the league.

Thank you Rondo for making the past only a painful memory.

It's always something with Sacramento. Now they have the worst SG in the league.

I think you are missing one triple double in there... as he had 3 in the last 4 games (as if we needed more evidence that he is a hell of a player).
