Raja Bell calls Kobe Bryant "pompous, arrogant"

The Suns are turning into the old Kings more and more (and more) every second. Not only are they a run-n-gun team that doesn't play defense, with a star power forward out due to arthroscopic knee surgery, they also hate the Lakers!!!

Bell acts like Webber at times out there. His composure has diminished by the game.

Why are trying to insult the Kings?

Kobe humble...Ha! I guess that's why Kobe was beating on his chest when he hit the winning shot the other day....just being humble.

Sarcasm, my friend. Sarcasm.

Okay I am going to say more about this. The suns have said everything I've wanted somebody to say about the lakers. It's nothing but the truth. Kobe is an arrogant, hypocritical, jerk. The refs seem to give them the calls especially in important games. Kobe gets away with elbowing and such WAY too often. PJ gets away with way too much **** too. GO SUNS.

"I was cool through four games of this series, man," Bell said. "No beefs, all right. Whatever. If you’re going to keep hitting me in my face and then talking like you’re not doing it on purpose, there’s a reason both my cheeks are bruised right now and I can barely open my jaw. All right? Every time you stick your butt out and try to hit me in my genitals, you’re doing it on purpose. That’s something you don’t do inadvertently and it was enough."

Hold onto someone during nearly every inbounds or post entry pass over the course of 5 games and ****'s gonna happen. The mere fact that he has drawn more than one offensive foul on Kobe in that situation proves he's close enough that Kobe shoved to free himself.

He's totally engrossed w/ Kobe, btw. This is some good theater.

Kobe's a egomaniac, arrogant a$$, but no one, and i mean no ONE can deny that man game. And since he's not acting like crybaby Allen regarding Bowen's D, he's a worthy opponents in my book.

I SO don't have a dog in this fight! It's just hard keep dredging up new hate for both of them! If there was a God he would land Bell on the Lakers next season.

Man I want Raja here now!
i don't think that would be a great thing considering Bell and Artest nearly fought a few years ago ! I know KT and SAR also had a battle but that's not the same guys...
last game between suns and kings (where we get blown out) bell was really playing physical with Artest, i though #93 will get rid of it and try to ring the bell, but no ! That was great because if RonRon did anything to bell he would have been suspended another year... Ron has changed a lot
besides Bell said in the halftime of the same game that he would be ready and not affraid to get into a fight with any kings player ( it was written in the Bee)
BTW, don't know who he thinks he is, but he would get ****ed up by Artest or Wells, maybe even by Serguei Monia !

ps : besides reacting to this post can you please tell me if i write bad english (mistakes, things that nobody understand etc)
it would really help me to write and speak better english ( one day i will travel to Sacramento and i'll have to be ready !)

The Suns will be without Raja Bell in Game 6. The guard has been suspended for his hard foul on Kobe Bryant

He has done his bit of crying, evenif its not as much as Allen's. But he doesn't need to anyway, the calls go his way most of the times.

Too much drama. Raja Bell is a punk...I remember him trying to fight BJax during the Dallas series after Jackson had already broke his cheekbone. As for Kobe, the guy's a complete b*tch...cries after every missed shot to the refs but then hacks other players and gets away with it. Too bad for the suns...bell is playing into the hands of the Kobe/PJax soap opera. Now he looks like the fool; he should have just socked him instead.

Wow I just heard all of that on Sportscenter, that is some good stuff. Kobe's voice was high pitched like he's going through puberty when he gave his interview, maybe I am the only one that noticed that? Anyway, that is just too funny.

here is what i think of kobe bryant:
he is the dorian gray of the nba with a twist (pun or no pun is upto you): he does not have his soul capturing picture. his vileness is showing on his face.

Everybody in this league cry one way or another when the decision goes against them. Tim Duncan does ;). But guys should have kept the complaining inside the court, while baby Allen took a phone call to Stu Jackson

"Does he know me? Do I know this guy? I don't know this guy," Bryant said. "I might have said one word to this guy. I don't know this kid. I think he overreacts to stuff.

"We go out there, we play, and when we play during the season, we play each other. That's it. I don't know this kid. I don't need to know this kid. I don't want to. We go out there, we play the game and leave it at that. Maybe he wasn't hugged enough as a kid. I look at him a little bit, he gets a little insecure or something. I don't know."

Last I check, this kid is older than you.

I like cool literature references.

mmm...kobe snapping back! "maybe he wasn't hugged enough as a kid."???

i love this little back and forth. its good for the playoffs. i hope the suns take the next game, and make it a seven game series.

I think Lebron complains far more than Kobe does...every possession he is literally running up and down the court. He rarely, if ever, gets up and just walks away.

What was he supposed to do? Let his head down and apologize for beating the Suns?
