Quote From Kenny Thomas from kings.com....

Your shot is looking better. How is it feeling?
"It's normal (again). (Last season,) was one of those years where I drifted away from my shot form. When I first got here it was going in, that's all that matters, and then I messed up my shoulder and it got even worse. I was holding onto the ball even longer and I was holding onto it with my left hand and I'm right handed! I was holding onto it with my left hand rather than just having the confidence to let it go."

Did you correct it yourself?
"Actually, Mike Miller's brother, Ryan Miller, is an assistant coach at University of New Mexico so I got with him and it took about two weeks. He just showed me the basics and broke it back down and he showed my Trainer, Harold, who I've had for the last three months, so we just followed everything he said. It feels good to be able to go to the free throw line and shoot it with confidence."

How much was your shot bothering you last year?
"It was killing me because I had never been through anything like that before in my life! It was a situation where my agent told me, you know how (Alex Rodriquez) couldn't even catch a routine grounder in the infield, people go through certain situations and I went through it with my jump shot. It's in the past, so it's over now."

How do you feel about the number of Fours in camp?
"It's a situation where (Reggie is) the coach and I'm just coming into training camp and doing my job. Everyone always said it was about me starting but it was never about that. I think (the media) had a tendency to blow it out of proportion. It was just (that starting) was something I was used to doing my whole career. (Regardless of who starts,) I just have to be professional about it and play the game the best way I know how."

Do you feel like Coach Theus knows what you bring to the team?
"I'm pretty sure Reggie has seen me on tape and he told me that when he came to meet with me in Albuquerque. He's a coach that's not going to hold you back, he knows what a player can and cannot do. That's the way he broke it down to me and I know what I can and cannot do. I'm 30 now and hopefully I play another six or seven years and I just have to live for the opportunity that I get."

How do you like Reggie's approach?
"I like Reggie's concepts. I like his mentality. He's coming in here and telling us that he is going to hold every individual accountable for their mistakes. And that's all I ask, just hold every individual accountable. I don't care who it is. Larry Brown did it and he's one of the best coaches I've had. Rudy Tomjanovich did it (too). If I'm not playing hard, then I shouldn't play. But that's one thing I always try to do, play hard."

No offense meant whatsoever, but what would you expect from the Kings website? Insightful reporting? I think not...

Remember, this is the same website that had Mike and Brad both waxing poetic about the "gold standard" of fans.
