Props for the unsung hero

Way to jinx him VF... ;)

No way. I'm as superstitious as the next person, complete with an assortment of rituals I do before every game.

Having said that, however, NO WAY I'm gonna take the blame on this one.

;)

And, all things considered, I still think Kenny deserves more credit than he generally receives.

I think Kenny would be getting more props if he could cut his turnovers down. It just seems like the guy is good for 3-4 turnovers a game.

I agree though, Kenny has been solid. Let us not forget that after the CWebb trade, he nearly averaged a double double for us.
Hence the reason I'd rather have him in the starting line-up instead of Reef...he's just more condusive to our new flow, on both ends of the court. I think Reef can adjust a hell of alot better to coming off the bench than Kenny did. We definetely can use Reef off the bench to our advantage, anyways...and I hope Adelman sees it that way, too.

I was thinking last night - Reef is in a "no-win" situation.

*If he doesn't perform off the bench, then he shouldn't get his position back because he's not good enough.

*If he does perform well off the bench, then we should keep him there because he brings the spark that KT doesn't.

That's pretty sucky.

Props to KT for doing well, though. For a guy his size, he really does get some rebounds.

I'm still amazed that our best lineup, the one that seems to give us the best performances is still: KT, Reef, Artest, Martin, Garcia. Talk about being mismatched - and somehow we pull it off.

Good thread finally after all the bashing
This last month is what kenny does. This has been his m.o his whole time in the assoc. Smallest man in nba three years ago to average a double double for season. Think about that at 6"8 This is his game. He works hard out rebounds taller men and gets the small things done. He always has. Sure he is going to have those nights where he gets 20 points or more but this team has enough scorers. We need someone to get in and do the dirty work. Is SAR going to do that? Can this fourm really see him playing that way all season long. He gets mad when he does not get the entry pass for the offense I think when kt is traded and dont think it will happen until summer time. Not going to trade someone that is playing well with starter not at 100%. All of us will see what he brought to this team when he is gone.

Jump shot is broken though
