My real prediction, don't get mad Martin fans, I enjoy watching kmart play myself and its just a prediction, AKA TDOS fun.

Kevin is DC mini me, Look at Dougs second year stats, SOOO based on that I am going to predict closer to Christie's 5 year numbers. Not exact players but a lot of similar traits.

Players do have ups and downs and I wish the best for you KMART! Sorry dood and I know I will be wrong.

Martin is all the athleticism of young Christie in a scorer's mentality. In college Kevin looked to slash to the rim and pull up on anyone in his way while Christie was more of just a jumpshooter primarily in college. He's also not on quite the same level/mindset defensively/assistwise as Doug.

I think Martin, similar looks aside, is going to be a very different player than Doug was, if for no other reason than the fact that Doug was one of those guys who just did what was needed and brought intangible heart/hustle/confidence with him. Those guys aren't your superstars, but they still don't come very often.

Martin's going to mature into a player (I believe a star player) that is good at what he does, which is agressive scoring with competent defense. He may develop those intangible things that Christie did later, but at the moment it's unfair and probably inaccurate to expect those things from Kevin.

I hope so Viking. I was just having fun so no disrespect to Kmart or any of his favorite fans. I don't think he is a DC clone but I thought it was interesting that the second year stats are very similar. Especially with all the comparisions to DC when we drafted him.

I don't know if he will be a star. But I think if he continues to work hard he will continue to grow into a solid all around player. It will also be interesting to see what happens this year in a different system. That actually goes for all our players that thrived offensively under RA.
