Prayers of Thanksgiving!

6th

Homer Fan Since 1985
We often place our prayer needs here, so this time I offer up prayers of Thanksgiving.

My newest great-nephew was due the 1st of the year. Well, some things don't wait for a timeline. My niece (in-law) went into labor over the weekend, but her doctor was out-of-town, so they gave her an injection to stop the labor. Then her labor started again on Monday, Dec 13th.

Here is the message I received from my sister today:

"Kyas Olen Harvill was born December 13, 2004. He weighs 6 lbs. 8 oz. and is
18 inches long...

While in labor they broke the water and Kyas became distressed. His heart
beat dropped in half. They did an emergency C-section and had to
resuscitate him. Both (mother and baby) are doing well now."

Thank you, God!!!

Praise God! Also, congrats.

My Mom got some news from the doctor about a month ago that she might have cancer. So, my whole family was in limbo for a month waiting for the results. Last Friday, we got the news that it was nothing at all.

Once again, Thank you Jesus!

Wonderful! Thank you, God!!

I am going to NY next week to spend Christmas with my mother. This trip only came about a few weeks ago. This is the first Christmas in four years that I have spent with family. Praise God for this great blessing!!

That's wonderful! Enjoy your trip! Praise God.

I'd also like to give thanks for recieving the piece of paper I wanted for Christmas(been waiting over 2 yrs). And the last time I gave blood my ALT levels were too high, so I had to go to my doctor and have some more bloodwork done. It all came back fine, so I can continue to give blood. Thank you God.
