I swear I've seen this season before.

The Kings’ recent plight almost sabotaged DeMarcus Cousins’ All-Star hopes, but the 24-year-old snuck in as an injury replacement. Cousins has been the most dominant true center in the league this year, averaging 23.6 points and 12.6 rebounds, and deserved to be in the midseason showcase regardless of his team’s lackluster showing (6-16) under Tyrone Corbin.

Injury replacement DeMarcus Cousins is going to win All-Star MVP just to spite the coaches.

The Kings ended their eight-game losing streak in Indiana on Saturday, though they had to hold on for dear life after DeMarcus Cousins fouled out for the third time in eight games. Only six other players have fouled out that many times all season and the Kings remain awful when he's off the floor. He's an All-Star, because their record surely isn't his fault.
This week: vs. GSW, vs. DAL, @ UTA, vs. PHX

They had better fix the coaching situation this summer. The players honestly deserve an apology for ownership sabotaging their season. I understood when they fired Mike Malone. But keeping Ty Corbin (who was good in Utah back in 2011) is pretty unforgivable.

The Kings are still actively trying to acquire an athletic big man to play alongside All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins, a source said.

The selection of DeMarcus Cousins as Kobe Bryant's replacement means that the Kings' All-Star drought, dating to Peja Stojakovic and Brad Miller in 2004, is over at last. You can read here how agonizing it was for NBA commissioner Adam Silver to have to choose between Boogie and Dame Lillard.

Gotta love the narrative in the national media about DMC. I don't really care about power ranking but the attention Boogie is getting is worth reading.

we were already after one of the Plumlees. His brother wants out.

Terrence Jones lost his spot in Houston after they discovered big in actually kinda nice. Faried on the same undersized sort of angle.

If they mean "athletic" so that the guy can help our "pace" by running the court, rather than athletic so the guy can help Boogie protect the rim and guard perimeter people...somebody will need to look PDA up. Shouldn't be hard to find. Be listed under "Idiots at Large".
