Well, here we are. Thankful that our roster is finally getting itself healthy. Maybe. Maybe? Jeez, we need to move the Kings out of Arco ASAP. I don't care where they play, really. Does the Cow Palace have a basketball court? Does the Cow Palace still exist? I don't know, I haven't lived there in years, and although I possess the powers of google, I'm not going to use them. On to the rankings!

The Kings got their first road win of the season on Saturday, thanks to a big third quarter in Orlando. For the season, they've scored 97 points per 100 possessions in quarters 1, 2 and 4, but 110 in the third. Not coincidentally, the third quarter is when they've passed the ball most. Afterhitting five threes in the last two games, Rajon Rondo is shooting better from 3-point range (36 percent) than from the free throw line (35 percent).
This week: @ CHA, @ MIL, vs. MIN, @ GSW

Quiet. Well, relatively speaking. The middling Kings have steered the ship back on course and have been in every game since things appeared to hit rock bottom. Rajon Rondo andDeMarcus Cousins are in great form. And…it could all implode any second now.

Everyone's favorite soap opera has now won four of their last six. Winnable games vs. the Hornets, Bucks, and Timberwolves are coming up. They need to finish off the East coast road trip strong to indicate some stability. By the way, Omri Casspi has been a tremendous value-signing for the Kings.

This pretty much sums up the Kings this season: They are 5-4 when DeMarcus Cousins plays, 0-5 when he sits. Rajon Rondo is putting up numbers, but the big key is he’s shooting 36.4 percent from three this season, some spacing the Kings need on offense.

Given the sort of chaos we're seeing with some of the West's contenders, don't we have to give some props to the Kings for weathering the storm? They're 5-4 when DeMarcus Cousins plays, looked credible without the suspended Boogie in Miami and won in Orlando without Rudy Gay. None of which seemed possible about two weeks ago.
Mean Ranking: 22.4
Avogadro FTW, everybody!
