Post your thoughts: SAC/NYL 7/8

Awful. We actually cut into the lead (that we allowed to get way too big), then didn't make a basket about the last 7 minutes of the game. Team also crappy at the FT line. Just ugh.

I haven't watched the game yet, listened to about the last five and half minutes of the 4th and the post game show, and got the gist of how this went down. I'm gathering from the comments that its probably not worth watching what I recorded...at least not without an attitude adjusting beverage of some sort ;) Sounded like they had some weird travel stuff going on and an unfortunately timed fire alarm.

Hopefully the break helps and the 2nd half starts the clean slate and they get things back on track.

At first I was disappointed that I missed the game, but maybe not. :(

The good news: We may have found a place in Natomas. Will know in a couple of days. :)

The bottom line is that this offense has to be more consistent. Although it was the defense that failed them in the first quarter, I feel that maybe two or three more first quater buckets, better free throw shooting and better execution in the fourth quarter would have kept this thing at least manageable down the stretch, and place them in position to win the game.

I heard Boucek say on last week, that their offense is "choppy" because of how they play defense and how they rotate players in and out, and in so many words we have to learn to deal with it. All I ask for is consistantcy, balance and execution with out a turnover.

Looking forward to the second half!!!

I couldn't agree more. Running down the shot clock for a rushed shot is tough to watch.

I caught a replay of the 1st half...then I was done. Hard to watch, just about everything worked for the Liberty....

The Monarchs were agressive at times...but if you get to the line & miss?
No points , no momentum. Time to forget this game, get in some quality practices & get ready for the Sun. They have some fire power as well.

Have to agree with PR...we gotta be more consistant offensively.
