PLAYER APPEARANCE: 2 pm – 3 pm

WHAT: Slamson appearance and Kings raffle prizes from 1 pm to 3 pm. Kings player appearance from 2 pm to 3 pm. Only the first 300 people will receive an autograph.

I had my one chance to meet him, but my wife (who loves Bibby) didn't believe it was him. We drove up to Minny for a playoffs game last year. Bibby and his group walked from across the street towards the restaurant where we were eating. I told my wife to go run after him and say hi, but she didn't want to believe me (and she still doesn't) that it was him. Maybe it has to do with the way I said it to her plus he does look a little taller in person than on TV :)
 
Okay - to follow up, I saw Cuttino, but I decided not to nag him after all. Funny story -everyone seemed as interested in his car as they were in him.

Get this - it's purple.

Well, it's dark purple, but really *glows* purple in the sunlight. But it's still got Texas plates. So.... he bought a purple car before he joined the Kings. I'm taking that as a sign that it was meant to be.

I was there too!! Actually his car was black but somehow when the sun shines on it or something it is purple! His car was some sort of a mercedes, curtains, mirrors in the back, a stero in the back, and I heard his car has seats like an airplane!!
 
This is when I was getting a autograph from Cuttino MObley. Good story. MUST READ!

Ok, so I was getting a autograph, and the first 300 peope get a ticket to show hat they will get an autograph. In the ticket it ssay: NO POSED PHOTOGRAPHS. When I was getting athe autograph, my mom was getting a pic of me with Cuttino, and he was posing. My moms camera didnt work for about 15 seconds and then the secruity guard said move! "But then, Cuttino said no it is ok. Take your time. "

Cuttino was rwally nice and went home with a pic with him, pics of his car, and a couple of autographs from him. What a day!!!
 
I actually did meet him once. It was about 2 years ago and he was in line in front of me at the Gamestop in Arden Fair Mall. He was so nice, unfortunately I didn't have anything for him to sign but I guess I have the memory. And he does actually look taller up close than on the tv or at Arco....cuter too! ;)
 
^^ really? that's nice. mike is such a video games fanatic. for some reason, i can picture him standing in line at gamestop looking like a big kid. looks cute.:o

vj - i remember that story. you shared that to us last year. that's cool! i never met a basketball player outside the arena.
 
^^Do you live in Sac LMM? Well I don't currently but my family still does and I still consider it home....Living there you can't help but have close encounters with the Kings, especially if you use the gas station next to Arco, you always catch them filling up after practice...:)

I think Brad's is on Monday - though that's someone who *definitely* should be resting instead of signing autographs. I wonder if it'll be cancelled.

I don't think signing autographs is going to negatively impact the recovery of his leg.

I also don't think him signing autographs will hurt his ankle. He's going to be sitting. ;)

I forgot Brad's this upcoming Monday. Thought it was yesterday. I hope I can go to it, but I don't think I will though.

With this team I actually wouldn't be surprised if one of our players got injured signing autographs (or brushing their hair, or getting their mail, or buttering toast)
