Pistons vs. Heat - game 2

Pistons with an 11-point lead at halftime. Rip with a 20-point first half, and Prince has chipped in 12. Wade and Shaq have 26 of Miami's 38 points, and Walker and Payton are 0-fer on their three point attempts in the first half (and the Heat are 1-11). As the role players go for the Heat against the Pistons, so go the Heat, apparently.

18 point lead now for Pistons. Heat just not playing as well as the first game. Billups is playing much better in second half.

Pistons have a horrible first half of the 4th quarter, and the lead is down to 6...ok, 8 after Prince gets a layup. Shaq is down after landing awkwardly.

Pistons with a 10-point lead with one minute left. Miami had a couple of chances to cut into a 6-point lead a couple of minutes ago, but couldn't convert.

what an ending. after that miami 3 towards the end i thought they may push overtime.. i think this is still promising for the heat. they win 1 and make a run to get back into game 2. if they can protect homecourt, who knows what will happen.

Pistons had some stupid fouls towards the end of the game. 17 points for a team in 1min and 17 seconds is unacceptable when you are trying to close out the game. They were good most of the game however except sometimes.

I know! I know! If the Heat protect homecourt in each of the remaining games, they win...and head to the NBA finals.

:D

Why do people want the Heat to succeed? Isn't Shaq still on that team?

It's crazy something is wrong with the Pistons. The Pistons didn't win game 2, Miami lost it. The way Miami played and they lost by only 4?? That's ridiculous. If Detroit keeps playing that way the Heat will win the series.

The way I read VF21's post, the smiley face was less about happiness that the Heat would advance to the NBA finals and more about how cleverly VF21 had "seen into the future," thereby enabling an unarguably accurate prediction for the outcome of the series if Miami wins their remaining home games.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

We have a winner...

;)

The Pistons are scaring me. They look tired. One of the announcers said during game 6 against Cleveland, that he thinks there may be a problem in the locker room. That would surprise me. They are such a cohesive team, but these playoffs??? Wow!!! They look like the underdog. Chauncey and Sheed to step up there game, and we need to see more Lindsay. Delfino is a strong defender and I think he should've been playing more during these playoffs but ever since Delk came on board, Delfino's minutes have dropped. He could be a strong prescence and he has 6 fouls to give. I don't know. They have to do something.
