Piazza signs with the A's

#1
Since I have accepted Oakland (mostly because of the Rivercats and their scrappiness) as my adopted second team in recent years, I'm glad to see Piazza in the east bay. I just hope he doesn't travel the 4 miles across the bridge and get too gay in SF on his days off. This could be his "coming out party" literally.

What's up with all this gay stuff? Do you think he's gay?
I'm just kidding around but there were rumors for a long time while he was in NY that he was gay. He actually held a press conference just to state that he was not gay. And now I made a joke about it because he's right next door to the what is known as a gay friendly city.

Isn't Piazza married?

As for the A's, I could understand that he wants to sign with an American League team. He is still a very good hitting catcher, but not great defensively. He is at the point of his career that he will become the DH and maybe even play other positions (1st base or outfield) to give his knees a rest.

He might be married. I dunno. It's not like I just made it up though. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=piazza+gay&btnG=Google+Search
