Petrie needs to get involved in the Dallas-Washington trade talks

Dallas would love Noc or Kmart, Washington would love KMart or a salary dump. Why are the Kings not mentioned in this deal at all? Haywood's on the table. Now Boston is rumored to be in talks, and I've looked up three team deals involving Washington and Boston before. Petrie should be trying to sneak McGee out of this.

Because Haywood expires after this year. I'd rather walk away from a deal with more than just an expiring contract and McGee.

As for Dallas, what do they have that we want?

Dallas has nobody besides Beaubois, and I doubt they give him up. It's more about being able to offer something more enticing than Butler and getting pieces out of it.

If you give up Noc and end up with Haywood out of it, how is that not a good move? You dump Noc's contract at worse and have a look at a big.

Oh Ok. I thought you meant trade K-Mart for Haywood. Yes, if we manage to swing Nocioni for Haywood and McGee, I would have to doubt the Wizards GM's sanity. If that's all we manage to get for K-Mart, something is wrong.

I'm glad we're not in the conversation. They have nothing we want.

We're talking Brendan Haywood, Josh Howard and a few other scrubs being discussed. There is no way in hell I'm ok with throwing Kevin Martin in the mix with all that garbage. Curon Butler is a baller, but is having a bad year and is not a good fit here with Donte and Omri.

The Wiz is heading into rebuilding mode, what rebuilding team gives away a young center (McGee) and takes on a vet with a rich contract (Noc)??

Washington have been very clear they want a drat pick or a good young player for Haywood. That should immediately rule the Kings out of this deal.

Your are NOT getting an expiring contract for Noc. The best we can hope is to get a similar player with slightly shorter contract!
