Petrie as head coach?

So I was thinking - if Muss doesn't work out, and continues to "coach like a chicken with his head cut-off" (to quote a previous thread), with an 11-man rotation staring Corlis and Jason Hart and no offensive scheme what-so-ever...

What about Petrie taking over as head coach?

Both Mike D'Antoni and Greg Popovich occupy the head coaching and general manager positions simotaneously.

Petrie obviously knows what he wants to do with the personal he acquires, and he really hasn't made any bad decisions (we'll see about Douby).

I dunno, what do you yal think?

 Hmm.... Have you been drinking at all? I ask because anybody whose heard GP a few times nows he would NEVER EVER coach. He likes to be in the background and watch. Thats all.

RC Buford is SA's GM. Popovich is the 'Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations'.

I was under the impression that President of Basketball Operations and GM was the same position?

During the recent Kings v Spurs game, a comentator mentioned that Popovich was President of Basketball Operations for the Spurs.

Which position does Petrie hold?
