I don't know how anyone on the outside can look at a case like this and not hope for a not-guilty verdict. One would like to think that a person is not capable of taking the life of another person, let a lone a husband of that of his wife's and unborn child. But, reality is, this world isn't perfect and I don't expect the jury to be either-it would be almost impossible for any of them not to think of Scott Peterson as not "a good guy."
The prosecution did a great job picking jurors and I think the defense dropped the ball big time. Peterson didn't exactly help his cause with all the things he did and all of the lies he told. This thing is however, its all far from being over. Its a "bifurcated trial" right now and the defense will most certainly challenge the verdict, not to mention if the death penalty is chosen, there is an automatic review of the case.
I pray for everyone involved, hope that the families have some sort of closure and are able to now remember Lacy as she was and not as what was done to her.
