Rick Carlisle......(On Peja’s Injury) “It happened a while ago in a game at Detroit. He jammed it a little bit but nothing serious, just a little swelling in it. The last day and a half since game one, it’s been bothering him more, a lot more. I talked to him this morning about it and he said he was going to go out and warm up and that we were going to talk about it again. It was clear that having him out there tonight would be the wrong thing to do. He just wasn’t able to cut on it and move the way he needs to. We are just hopeful that with another day and a half of rest, it’ll calm down and he’ll be able to play. We did have an MRI on it, there’s no structural damage or no major risk of injury. He has to feel like he can play the game that he needs to play, especially against a team like New Jersey.”
