PDA hints of more moves to come

I like Isaiah, but he is in no way better than Rondo. Rondo is a better defender and passer who averaged a near triple double in the playoffs.

Your speaking as if he's never had a serious injury that's kept him out a year. When players sustain these type of injuries three scenarios happen - THey do not resemble their former selves, they lose a little physical ability/game or their game progresses as if nothing happened

Yes, but you said IT might be the better player even ignoring Rondo's injury

Is there a 4th scenario?

We need to do a pure salary dump somewhere. I think it's coming with Thornton. Detroit Charlie V. Straight up for Thornton. Charlie is an ended. Then we pickup Terrance Williams. This is if you can't get a rondo or something like that. Now. All that said the team that can really use Thornton is Chicago. Now they dont have much we need Thornton for Heinrich don't work unless you get a third team involved. Memphis could absorb Thornton for a pick. That would immediate salary dump with none coming back. Other teams with room or exceptions maybe?

I love how much activity there is. Every move PDA has made has been an improvement and I'm anxious for next season already. I'm the only one from Sacramento out of my group of friends and they're all Lakers, Warriors, and Clippers fans. The Kings have caught all of their attention.

I get the showcasing part...it worked or helped us get rid of Hayes, Salmons, PPat.....don't know about MT though. I think we continue to showcase him and just hope he gets his game together a bit. I can agree with showcasing Jimmer to help move him. But at some point your going to want to play Ray and also Acy as Acy has not had an opportunity for lots of playing time. You get excited when they beat Dallas like they did but then reality slaps you in the face. I'd really like to get a lottery pick so the losing part for this year is fine but I can not wait to see MT and Jimmer out of the rotation completely. Heck, I watched Dallas get their rookie PG Larkin short stints getting minutes. Need to do this with Ray but in the meantime showcase Jimmer and MT unfortunately

I highly doubt that a) we were showcasing Hayes/Salmons/Ppat and b) that even if we were, it played a part in moving them. All reports point toward Ujiri basically declaring that Rudy Gay was on the table, and we were the only team to respond. Nobody else wanted to take on his contract. Toronto was desperate to move Gay, and we just sent them a whole bunch of enders. The trade had really little to do with the actual play of the players involved.

I keep thinking how much better our post defense would have been had PDA not traded robin Lopez away to Portland. Lopez is a nice rim protector for Lamarcus Aldridge in portlands breakout season.

Oh we'll, PDA did sign the unstoppable Carl Landry with the money he saved from shipping Lopez for a couple of 2nd round picks.

Don't forget that we coulda had Jeff Withey too!
