After a scary fall in which Patrick McCaw lost feeling in his legs for a moment, MRI results on the Golden State Warriors guard’s lower back returned structurally sound, league sources told Yahoo Sports. There is no timetable for McCaw’s return, but there is hope that he will be discharged from the hospital on Sunday, league sources said. Warriors guard Patrick McCaw is taken off the court on a stretcher after falling hard to the floor late in the third quarter following a Flagrant 1 foul by the Kings’ Vince Carter on Saturday.

An MRI exam performed Sunday on injured Golden State Warriors guard Patrick McCaw found that his lower back is structurally sound, Yahoo Sports reported. The Warriors announced late Saturday night that chest X-rays and a CT scan performed at UC Davis Medical Center also came back negative on McCaw, who suffered a scary fall in Saturday's contest against the Sacramento Kings. ESPN reported McCaw had regained feeling in his legs after they reportedly were numb from his fall.

After a frightful fall Saturday night, followed by an ambulance trip to the hospital, Warriors guard Pat McCaw passed all preliminary tests during his stay at UC Davis Medical Center and was released Sunday afternoon. "Just a huge relief," Kerr said. After undergoing X-rays, a CT scan and an MRI test, McCaw was diagnosed with a lumbar spine contusion and will miss at least three games.

Golden State Warriors guard Patrick McCaw has been released from the hospital following a scary fall during a game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. McCaw was going up at the rim when Kings guard Vince Carter undercut him, sending the Warriors backup flying. McCaw landed flat on his spine, and immediately reacted in pain.
