Over the basket camera

Gregorius

G-League
Is there any way to get footage from that over the basket camera? That could clear this whole thing up. If the Kings get that footage and send it to David Stern and he might do something about it.

are you kidding??? what's done is done. the kings lost and the last person to do something about would be david stern even if he knew down in his heart that it was a goaltend. the media's calling it a great block by a great player on a great team. why would stern mess all that up?

Nothing he can do about it now. However, I really would like to see the view from that camera as it would put all this to bed and stop the conjecture.

First of all hi to all, i'm new to the board, however i've been lurking for over 2 years and finally decided to join.

Now, here is the final proof that amare's "block" was CLEARLY a goaltend...

and finally a video clip...

How clould the refs have missed it, this is ridiculous

. On the other hand, when you're 7ft. and that close to the basket you throw that mofo DOWN!, get the basket and 1. [bill walton] throw it down big man, throw it down[/bill walton]. I guess he is right afterall

That last clip is pretty good. One thing I noticed is that on the way down Amare's head hit the net so that gives you some type of reference as to where he was. No doubt in my mind it was a goaltend.

Enuff already. I tend to look at Bibbys and Pejas missed free throws and the two technicals over that last play. Enough.

Perhaps if they can have Evans put on a dunking clinic we would not have this kind of situation again..........????

Miller and Peja mandatory attendance........................................ ..........

Other then a few Kings fans and homer announcers EVERYONE ELSE IS CALLING IT A BLOCK..

Which it is now, offically....... From the angles of the photos and tapes (thnx bullsking), here and elsewhere it is difficult to say or call............... A dunk would of left no doubt;)

The two techs in my mind, was the turning point.. Have to keep your composure..Start of the second half, they just gave 4 points away... For nothing... 2 techs, silly foul....... frustrating..

A two handed dunk from directly under the basket as Brad was is a bit more difficult for us vertically impaired folk. I thought he did well to get it where he did. And, while both teams blew opportunities you should at least be able to expect the game officials to at least confer as to what they saw and make a call, not just skulk out daring one and all to challenge them.

This is exactly why the Suns are so annoying, brings back the memories of the Dallas Mavs from last season. I absolutely can't stand "Q" and his cocky-a** look and attitude aghhh  it drives me nuts. Q is a nobody, he is a scrub in my book. In my opinion he is actually killing the suns with his 3 point shooting, sometimes attempting 16 (!!!) three pointers a game.

Actually that clip doesn't show anything, look at the clip and the pictures i posted above.

q-rich 0-5 from the 3 point line last night... and this guy is entering the 3 point contest??? haha

My question is, why isn't Cuttino in the 3 point shootout ??? he knocked down some crazy 3pointers last night, with people right in his face. he is blazing from the 3pt line all season. I wouldn't be surprised if "Q" puts up few airballs in the contest. One thing i can guarantee is that "Q" will put up a whole bunch of bricks and will come in dead last. The guy is a bricklayer, simple as that.

Does anyone know what those two techs were about? When they T'd up Miller he didn't even look angry and no one knew of the Webber technical till the second half started. Those seem mighty suspect as well.

I was thinking the exact same thing, It seemed like Miller wasn't even angry on the first one and they were all shocked he got one.

Webber got his at the end of the the 1st half...after he got fouled and they didn't call it...he argued it all the way up and back down the court (ths was during the time that the crowd was boo'ing badly) until the ref called once the clock ran out...nobody really saw it...but...

I didn't see the game...so these pics and clip help so much. Thanks BullKing!! :) And welcome to the forum!!!

It looks like...if Brad would had dunk, it may had been in time. I think Brad didn't know many many secs were left so instead, he did that floater. It looks like goaltending...but we can't do anything about it now anymore. :(

The Miller T is in the paper:

"'You have no idea,' Miller said when asked how angry he reamined. 'I got a technical earlier for saying, 'He was passing it. He was passing it.' That makes it tough to play.'"

Looks like the players can't even talk. Cat's right...you can't even talk with the refs.

I'm pretty sure that was the call that they said Nash was passing it when he was behind the basket on the baseline and pretty much just threw it up and they gave him a shooting foul. By the way, the continuation calls by the NBA refs are also a joke. If you foul some guy and he is on the floor it shouldn't be a shooting foul.

NONE of the pictures show it.

They are all 2D photos that viewers are projecting what they want to see in the third dimension, either a good block or a goaltend.

Looking at the sum of all that has been made available visually, I still say goal tend, but without the depth shot from above, NO ONE can say what it was with 100% certainty.

Ok they just said on KHTK that the imaginary cylinder goes all the way to the roof. If any part of the ball is over or touching that imaginary cylinder and the ball is touched it's a goaltend.

THANK YOU, sir... it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out, just an intuitive understanding of how camera lenses project 3d world onto 2d plane... something everyone with 2 eyes should have.

I heard he was asked and declined.
