Time to forget about the past.
Time to live in the present.
Time to plan for the future.

We got a game tonight.
We had a game last night.

Well, Charlotte had a game last night. I am not sure what we thought we had, because we kind of didn't show up to the gym ready to shoot some hoops.

Today is a new day.
Tonight is a new game.

LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Kings Fam Bam!!!

Because...

We all know what time it is...

Good to hear dlo and kc absolutley torching Harrison Barnes. His rebounding numbers last year to this year are abysmal. Dude doesn’t deserve to be on the floor.
What made HB great was he was an elite offensive role player that got to the FT line at a near impossible rate for a non-star. And was passable everywhere else; defense, rebounding, etc.

Unfortunately, he's just taken a pretty big step back almost across the board. Defense is much worse, rebounding is bad and he's not even close to the consistent offensive threat he's been historically as a King.

What the kings have going for them. They seem to match up well with the magic. They beat them twice last season. They will be hopefully hungrier to get a win because of last night's embarassing loss. The kings are playing back to back but so are the magic. The bar is set low but hopefully we can get around 10+ points each from 2 of either murray, barnes, or huerter, but if not at least do the other things like adequate defense and hustle. Gotta show show us something!

I'm wondering if he part way mentally checked out, if the they told him that Murray was going to get a lot more plays and shots this season. Almost like he was told to stay out of the way. The weird part is that he had a scorching hot 1st game and then they still didn't seem to want to go to him or call his number in a play. I wonder if that also affected him in some way.

If nothing else, he should have earned some plays and shots, just on that hot game. But of course there is something else,....he had a solid track record with this team of being an option who was capable of putting up numbers

He has 15 games with 12 or more points as a 5th or 6th option on the team. Keegan Murray has 17 games as the third option. HB also has one of the best 3 pt percentages on the team. Over 40 percent in his last ten. The defensive rating of the starting 5 is 105

I'd like to see how the team looks with some plays called for Barnes and encouraging him to shoot more, whether as a starter or moving him to the second unit. While this might limit Murray's numbers at times, it could even help him along in his development. More importantly, it could improve the team right away

Last nights loss was a pathetic example of how mentally soft this team is.

Domas with double digit TOs and Fox blowing it on both ends in the final minutes should hopefully not happen twice in a row.

Let's see some fire and aggression tonight and not rely on the friggin 3 ball!

Go Kings!

Precisely. He looks like a drone out there. Completely uninspired play night in night out. Sasha has to start seeing some of these minutes or even Edwards. At least they play with a sense of alacrity, which is typically contagious out on the court. Barnes brings BLAH and overall heartless play. We have too many nice guys, too many Eagle Scouts. Monte needs to prioritize less nice and more dawg.

I don’t think Kai Jones plays uninspired. I think he has very little going on between the ears, has poor instincts for the game and can’t seem to lose that clumsy puppy energy. I wanted the Kings to pick Kai that year in the draft and I wiffed badly. I don’t wear rose-colored glasses. I call it how I see it. Clearly you have some attachment to him because of an Iowa connection that prevents you from being objective about how Barnes is playing. It’s cute to see but doesn’t contribute much to a conversation bout making the team better.

Look again. 15 games with 12 or more points 2 less than Keegan Murray in a much smaller role. One of the best 3 pt and free throw shooters on the team. Part of one of the best 5 man starting lineups according to advanced analytics. Trusted by last years coach of the year. He is a 5th option and a pretty good one at that. When an upgrade is available I’m happy to make it but fans are pretty irrational when it comes to expectations for role players.

I AM looking. You are NOT looking. You are reading numbers. Look at him on the court. His play is soulless and mediocre.

tell that to coach and advanced analytics. He is not a great nba player, he is an average NBA player who happens to be playing a premium position. He spaces the floor for our best players. He doesn’t make mistakes. That has a lot more value than people think.

Anyway, we can agree to disagree on this one and hopefully we will both be happy if an upgrade comes around.

I'm glad Fox has found his three game but there was no reason to settle for 3 there and I think last night he started taking threes when we just needed twos and quickly gave up a 3 point lead to whatever we lost by (I turned it off once they went up 7).
