Well I was raied on Boyd Grant basketball at Fresno State so I LIKE tough defense, but it can make a game drag a bit for the average fan.

Isn't it exciting to watch players going for every lose ball, fighting for every rebound, and blocking every possible shot?
Sorry I don't see those in a Dallas Kings matchup. They are way more talented. Shoot way much better. But frankly I have had enough francy pretty ball. I LOVE TO SEE TEAM DEFENSE.

Not especially. It sounds too much like a football game... and I don't like football. I'm somewhat interested in the idea of a great offensive team playing a great defensive team, just to see which one can impose their will, but the notion of too great defensive teams grinding it out to a 54-52 finish annoys me.

why do i have the feeling that the lakers are going to have many games like this, where kobe DOMINATES and they get blown out???? also the lakers set a franchise record for fewest assits in a game, with 7 ( the old record was 8 )

great game by the jazz. AK 47 is definetly my fav non kings player. 4 blocks in the first QT. they look like a playoff team for sure. boozer had a huge game, but i don't think that will happen against the time duncans and KG's of the world.

In case you missed the game, Kobe tried to get his teammates involved for most of the first half, but everyone was cold, including Kobe. They didn't lose this particular game because of Kobe scoring 35. They had already lost by the end of the first half because they sucked on offense and had no energy.

I think Kobe probably passed as much in this game as he did in the Nuggets game. Everyone outside of Kobe just looked like NBDL players tonight. They're not a good road team yet, too young maybe.

Geez, only one other player on Lakers had double digit score (Odom-14). WOW.

Last night it actually looked like Kobe was going to be turning over a new leaf.

Kobe finally had it and took over about half way through the third. AK47 was just a pest and he intimidated the Lakers. Towards the end, Rudy T. started posting up Odom on AK47 but by then, the lead was too much. That should have been done sooner. It was a bitter learning experience for the young Lakers.
