Cisco shot 40% from the floor and 28.5% from downtown. There is no doubt in my mind he is better but who knows when he will reach his potential. Not everyone develops like KMart.

Salmons has a better shooting percentage across the board and can rack up some assists. Cisco has more defensive energy as shown with more blocks and rebounds than Salmons. Salmons has 3 more years experience and was a first rounder. I'd like to think he has some more potential and was hindered in Philly.

Salmons is not good at the assist ratio / and has his problems. i think the best thing we can do right now is wait and see how he does and how much he can improve and how Eric plans to use him at this point we can only hope. considering we overpaid for his services. we can only hope he suceeds as a King and proves hes worth every dime the Kings payed him.

I agree with that except for the assist ratio/ problems part. Both of those would be apparant when Iverson is hogging the ball. When you speak about Salmons are you looking at a stat sheet or are you speaking from what you've seen? Because I remember this kid when we played Philly the last couple years. I like the explosive energy he brings as well as his versatility. Like you said, lets see what he can do in a Kings uni under Muss before we pass judgement.

Swingmen are two a penny in this league. Like with any other position, stockpiling swingmen only equates to bargaining power when you're offering a good one. Stockpiling Salmons and Garcia isn't going to get us any further than stockpiling Thomas and Potapenko has.

PLEASE tell me that you're not basing your optimistic outlook for Salmons on what he did against US? We, who enabled Tony Delk to make history, and single-handedly made Joel Przybilla a household name?

Scrubs look like superstars against us on a regular basis; please tell me that the hope you have for Salmons isn't based on that...

Your forgeting one thing. Potential and upside. Garcia and Salmons both have it. Thomas and Potapenko don't. Of course someone once said, Potential means, you haven't done anything YET.

I am willing to give Salmons a wait and see pass. Although this is different then in years past. Previously we could get someone under RA and say yes his numbers will improve. This year we have no idea...
