It was an ugly road trip but the Kings may have proven the old adage "there's no place like home." Like Dorothy clicking her red slippers, the Kings pulled out the stops and got a win to start their home season off on the right note.

Although the team got off to a shaky start in their home opener against the Sonics, they rallied for a great comeback that had the 14,000+ fans in attendance on their feet and refusing to let them lose the game. Interestingly enough, they beat the Sonics by the same score as they beat them in the pre-season, 104-98.

It's gonna be a long season but with effort and energy like what we saw on the court on Tuesday, it could be a much better season than what we suffered through last year.

The Kings have an oddity on their schedule this season. They have three back-to-backs at home. The first pair of games comes this weekend, when the Kings face Lebron James and the Cavaliers on Friday, followed by the Kevin Garnett-less Timberwolves on Saturday.
