"With free agency set to begin, Saturday figures to be a big day for Nene. But it won't be the day's biggest happening for the Nuggets big man. Nene, who will be a restricted free agent, is getting married in his native Brazil. After the wedding, he will fly to Los Angeles, where his agent, Dan Fegan, is based."
"Nene is expected to be given a long look by several teams, including the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors. Nene can have any offer sheet matched by the Nuggets within seven days and likely will command a contract worth about $10 million a year."
"(Sam) Cassell, a Los Angeles Clippers guard who will become an unrestricted free agent Saturday, reiterated he will consider the Nuggets. He first expressed interest in April, when the Clippers played the Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. "Yeah," said Cassell, who played with Nuggets coach George Karl in Milwaukee from 1999 to 2002-03. "George is the coach, so I'm interested. . . . (Carmelo Anthony) is on the way up. We're on friendly terms. And George speaks for itself."
"(George) Karl doesn't deny the Nuggets will take a look at Sacramento Kings shooting guard Bonzi Wells. Other free-agent guards who could get calls from the Nuggets include Ronald Murray of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Matt Harpring of the Utah Jazz and Fred Jones of the Pacers (restricted)." "Nearly three months after being shot in the legs and hip, Nuggets guard Julius Hodge vows to be ready to play next week with the summer league team in Las Vegas. "As of now, I definitely feel much better," Hodge said. "I'll be out there in the summer league and out there doing what I have to do." Rocky Mountain News
"The lawsuit against Nene filed by his former personal assistant, Joe Santos, is going to arbitration. Santos alleges Nene violated a seven-year contract, claiming he is entitled to 6 percent of Nene's income from Nov. 15, 2005 to Nov. 14, 2012." Rocky Mountain News

Intriguing about Nene and Bonzi. Great news about Hodge, I hope he gets to play semi-regularily this season. Guy has nice talent and is versatile, tough kid.
Nene's gonna be on top of the world with getting married and soon to be making possible double figures.
