Probably an ugly game to watch. No Laker with more than 20 points, and as a team they shot well below 40% from the field (I don't have the stats in front of me or I'd put an exact figure).

They held Kobe to 17 points. Bet it's really ugly around his house right now - or he's finding another injury to point to, since it couldn't have been good defense that stopped him.

Yeah I am shocked that Mc Hale has not traded either Spree, or Cassel, both have been major butt heads, neither is in his prime and both have trade value... who knows what the deal is but if ever a team needed to make some moves it is the Wolves right now.

Poison gets traded all the time. Cassell will be moved fairly easy as an exp PG.

I have to ask - what is this recent compulsion some of you seem to have developed for shoe eating? What kind of shoes? Sandals? Penny loafers? Nikes? I think those things should be specified. There's a big difference between consuming a flimsy little summer number and a steel-toed double-insulated work boot.

If you guys are going to make those boasts, I think we all need to know the details.

As I see it, the biggest problem with the Timberwolves is that we seem to be the only NBA team that they can consistently beat. They play the Kings and Kevin Garnett starts dropping threes like Reggie Miller.

There was some scuttlebut on a couple of team boards today about a 4-way deal on the table including Spree. People claiming that they heard a report from somewheres or another.

Seems like it won't take much for them to accomplish that.
