Last night, I went to bed at 11 p.m., which is far earlier than my usual bedtime.
But I woke up at 3:30 a.m., and watched TV.
I just happened to tune into Channel 7, KVIE-2 (PBS' KVIE's sister station), which is available on Comcast Cable packages.
They were showing a documentary about a high school girls' basketball team in Kentucky, culminating in the state regional finals. Also, there were interviews with people who played back in the 20's through the 70's. I didn't recognize any of the names there, so I doubt that any of them went on to the WNBA or even the other women's pro b-ball leagues (ABL, WPBL, etc.)
But anyway, I was wondering if anyone of you guys saw this before. The documentary, called "Girls Hoops", was made in 1998.

From what little that I saw of it, I found it interesting, especially their take on the growth of women's basketball from the youth leagues' to college.
This is NOT to be confused with another PBS documentary "This Is A Game, Ladies", which was about Rutgers' 2000-01 season, that was shown last year.
