Sacramento Kings star Harrison Barnes is giving back to the Iowa community where he grew up. Barnes, 27,who grew up in Ames, announced Monday that he and his wife, Brittany, will contribute $195,000 to the Ames Community School District, KCCI reported. According to a news release from the Ames Community School District, the donation was approved Monday night.
