Still, It's an easy answer. Of course he can be the PG on a championship team, just maybe not as a true #2 option.

with the way Simmons has performed in these playoffs, I don't think Philly can trade him unless they attach Maxey or Thybulle with him and a first rounder

absolutely want no part of Simmons around this team, he can go try to resurrect his career elsewhere as far as I'm concerned. Buddy had a bad year but I don't think that's the norm.
I like that. I think we'd have to give Marvin to get that and I think I could live with that.

He is still a fantastic #3. We are talking about an elite playmaker and defender here. He just can't be relied on as a number 2. Doc should have thrown himself under the bus while he is at it. Maybe he doesn't have what it takes anymore?

if you're team has a whole bunch of shooters and/or two scorers then sure...he can be helpful and you take him out for stretches so teams don't foul him intentionally

Hali has ways to go to become a consistent number two scorer. He's a facilitator that can give you 12-15 PPG and good defense. Bagley is an enigma until he proves otherwise, so it's all potential and patience at this point
I think that if we could do Simmons for Buddy and our #1 and keep Bagley I would prefer that to the deal with Thybulle but either work for me.
Could Fox, Tyrese, Barnes, Simmons and Bagley work at the same time?
Antetokounmpo refused to take on the challenge of guarding Durant, because Budenholzer didn't ask him to. For better or worse, they ain't tuning that dude out.

why does Giannis have to carry the burden of the offense and defend Durant? That's why they acquired PJ Tucker and Jrue to take that burden
