Remember this name. Bicycle rider. Great in the mountains. 5'5", 126 pound, 23 yo Columbian. He won today's stage in the Tour de France (there are 21 stages) by blowing everyone away. He'll be 2nd in the Tour. He will win the white jersey - best young rider. He will win the polka dot jersey - best mountain climber. Soon he will win the Tour as 23 is very, very young. For those who don't have a clue as to how the race is raced, a team of 9 will be constructed to serve their leader. Quintana is already the team leader of his sponsor but I now envision a huge sponsor, perhaps his present one, putting together a team to maximize this little man's skills and he will go down in history as one of the best. His win today was as moving as any I have watched since Greg Lemond remarkably won one of his Tours with the ride of a lifetime.

Shows what can happen when you take a desperately poor kid and buy him a bike so he can get to school, 9 miles each way, starting at his home at 3,000 feet. Combine athletic skills with the chance of his birth and he will win time after time without doping.

If you build a team around Cousins, you build a team around Quintana.
