A quote I found from Evel that I like:

"I wear this red, white, and blue number one on my shoulder because I think I'm the best...in my business, you have to think you're the best or you could wind up dead. Because when you do what I do for a living, you've got to have a positive mental attitude. If you don't have that positive mental attitude when you make that jump, then you've got to be man enough to handle the consequences... in my case, I'm man enough." RIP!!

When I was young (a very long time ago), I thought Evel was so cool.....a little crazy, but way cool.

RIP!!

^^^I wonder how many people are old enough and willing to admit that they had that cool toy with Evel on his motorcycle and you would wind it up on the platform and it would take off.

It was a very cool toy, and while I am old enough to remember it, I did not have one. Evel lived a very hard life, but was very entertaining. Again...RIP!
