Hip hip HORRRRRAYYYY!!!!

Tim "Monty" Montemayor is heading out of town finally. Hes accepted a job in St Loius(cant find a link yet so ill do it later orsomeone else can do it. I heard it from the Rise Guys this morning). Thank god I don't have to hear his trap anymore. I wont have the urge to run down there and squeeze his irritating neck anymore;)

Carmichael Dave will replace him. Hopefully that will be permenent. He definately deserves the shot.
 
I always liked Monty even though quite often he was talking out of his ***!!

I find Carmichael Dave to be a little boring and at least Monty was pretty much the only guy in town who would at least provide some kind of dissenting opinion about the Kings......everyone else on the radio just seems to be sniffing the jocks of the players.
 
I couldn't listen to Monty anymore after he did his fire Adelman....NO NO keep Adelman reversal. He did challenge the status quo which I liked but he was just annoying.

My funniest Monty memory was him at Fandemonium this year. They let him participate in a 3pt shooting contest and I do not believe one of his shots ever touched the rim. I felt kind of sorry for him actually for a hot second and then I thought it was just hillarious.
 
I like his radio show. It fit that time slot perfectly. Not a big fan of Monty's but the show was great and I did enjoy it.

Last night I think they had on some ESPN segment so I wonder if CDave already got the boot
 
I preferred the guy from sporting news radio.. forget his name but he sounds kinda like Rush Limbaugh. .. ugh.. who is he..

His name slips me at the moment but was the only time I e-mailed Ramey..(actually got a response) on how I disliked that guy

As far as Monty and dissenting opinion goes, he created controversy without basis in fact just to have something to talk about. That's much more disturbing to me than someone who actually likes the home team. Monty never did.

You can like the team and still be objective and critical.
 
I only disagree VF that in that time slot Monty filled a niche. Otherwise I agree. I don't mind that every person on KHTK isn't a Kings fan cause then its Homer radio 101. Ala KOZ which is just boring and sucks.

I like Cdave and from the radio voice think he is a great person just boring radio.
 
Jim Crandell is probably my favorite guy on KHTK. I wish he would work more radio. 11-1 Saturday's.
 
it seems like a new person is doing the show everyday. I liked Monty's show alot..especially his unscreened phone calls that he did for a while. I dont care who does the show now as long as they dont cancel it and go back to the national feed.
 
i just found his new website www.getmonty.com. it says that he'll start his new show in saint luis from jan 9 and will be streamed live on the internet.
 
My biggest complaint about Monty was that he did not know anything about sports. He once actually said that Robert Horry should be in the Hall of Fame and Karl Malone should not.
