Monarchs Updates?

This might not be the right place for this thread but like many in Sacramento I'm hoping for Vivek Ranadive and his ownership group to re-expand the Monarchs.

Has anyone heard any news or rumors about this happening?

Really what I've read is it is very possible now that there is a new owner and a new arena coming that the Monarchs return.

Sacramento can only hope right?

First, hello, and welcome. Second, it would probably be more appropriate for this thread to be in the Off the Court forum, so I'll be redirecting this shortly after I finish replying.

In terms of your question, there hasn't been any official word, nor really any additional information, since Vivek Ranadive mentioned that he'd like to see them back. I would guess that there's not likely to be any further news until we're further along with the new arena.

So, keep watching this space, I guess.
