Monarchs To Be Televised For A Franchise-Record 13 Games

Well, looks like Dannette delivered again....fans had been asking for them to televise more away games and it looks like all of the local broadcasts are away games.

I love the fact that we are getting more away games, that's the way it should be. The home games are the ones we should be attending...not watching on tv.

I also notice that one of the televised games is the one @Chicago on May 23rd. Maybe we should plan on watching that one at a sports bar or something... since Mr.4Play will still be in Sacramento.

Hurray for Danette! We are very fortunate to have her. :)

"Jim Kozimor, in his eighth season with the franchise, will call the play-by-play for the Monarchs on both News10 and Comcast SportsNet, with Krista Blunk, returning to the color analyst position for her tenth season."

Wasn't it him who said he was becomin a fireman and might not be able to make all the games?

So those 5 CSN games, they are on the premium channel, right? The one you have to subscribe to? We'll have to coordinate a meeting place where we can watch that.

No, you are referring to Shawn Allen. I believe it was MBF who mentioned that a couple months ago. Shawn will be enrolled in a firefighters training academy and his probationary period will coincide during the 2006 WNBA season. Therefore, his schedule might now allow him to attend all the Monarchs' home games. Some of them, but not all of them.

I'll check in with Mr.4play to see if he'll be back in town or would be up for arranging to be back in town for the Chi game, he was planning to be elsewhere between Opening Day and the game against the Comets. But honestly what could possibly be more fun than partying with us in front a TV watching the new WNBA entry take on the defending champs?
