No mention of the magazine cover, I guess everyone was too excited about Jason Ross catching a foul ball.....Great insights just the same...

They may not have known about the magazine cover since they've been out of town the last week and I believe they only had two callers all show and neither brought it up. But that would be an ideal topic to bring up next week perhaps?

The more callers they have, the merrier it is. And the less garbage we have to put up with from Napear and Breton about how nobody wants to talk about the WNBA or the Monarchs. We have something no other WNBA team has - a weekly two hour show to call in and participate.

Thanks Carole....talking with them is like talking with folks you know on the phone. The folks in this forum have those same conversations sitting around @ Joey B's or in their ARCO Arena sections right? It's really no different. Koz and Krista actually want to have conversations with people and preferrably people other than themselves for 2 hours. You don't really need to do any research, just call and talk about the M's and the league.

Regular day for Monarchs Talk?

I have been remiss in following this board, as well as KHTK's radio program: "Monarchs Talk". MBF, you are so right when you say we are fortunate to have access to this broadcast forum to talk up our team and display our passion for the WNBA. I have always wanted to call in, but like Carole's remark, I know I'm not the best analyst or speaker. Nonetheless, I will make a better effort to participate in hopes of keeping the show on the air. I will also work on some friends to do the same. <wink>

I believe that the one time I tried to tune in this year, it wasn't on when I expected it to be. Is the program on a regular (or semi-regular) schedule? Seems like last year it was Tuesday nights unless there was a game. Thanks for the reminder, and GO MONARCHS!!!

The regular day is Wednesday unless there is a Monarchs game. The station I believe had a contractual obligation to carry to NBA Finals which is why they had one funky week or two where it went from a Friday and then the following Monday.

It might be on at 7pm on Weds next week, it is the same day as the allstar game so I'm not sure how they'll work that. As soon as I know what day I'll let you know.
