Monarchs End Silver Stars Winning Streak On The Road

Monarchs center Erin Buescher provided an energetic spark off the bench, scoring 10 points in the first half, including a fast break lay-up off a no-look pass from guard Ticha Penicheiro. Before the crowd finished cheering that one, forward Hamchetou Maiga-Ba caught an over the shoulder pass from forward Yolanda Griffith and made a lay-up to tie the score, 36-36.<snip>

Both of those passes were just flat out gorgeous and the catches and finishes were very athletic - the highlight on NBATV gave a better perspective of Buescher's layup than I had in the arena.
