Jim Kozimor said this morning on The Rise Guys show that Bibby may try to give it a go tonight. Stay Tuned!!!
Where are all the people who thought Peja should have played last year with a bad pinkie?
BIG difference between a pinky and a thumb.
Also Peja had a SPRAIN...Bibby has a tendon dislodged from the distal bone. That's a lot more serious. lol
I love it when Kings fans pretend they are doctors.
From all the articles I've read I'd have to agree with Smills.
Anyway, Mike's a warrior but if he does decide to play I wouldn't play him more than 15 minutes. He's had about a week and a half to heal it though, at least it feels like it. Hopefully it's past the point where if he plays his hand will get real jacked up.
Mike has an injury which THE DOCTORS said would take 3 weeks to heal. He is trying to come back earlier.
Peja had an "injury" which THE DOCTORS said he could play through. And he chose to take himself out with a teammate playing through the exact smae inury jsut down the hall. Of course Peja also took himself out of games for hangnails and eyebrow waxings, so its hardly a shocker.
You must be some doctor, diagnosing people based on what you read in the paper.
All I'm saying is that there is a major double-standard on injuries based on people's perceptions of the player. People think Bibby is tough, so watch out, he might injure himself further coming back too soon and people say he should take more time. People thinking Peja is soft, so obviously he's unwilling to play through pain and we should all talk about what a wuss he is.
I feel perfectly content leaving this matter to Bibby, the trainer and Musselman.
Mike just doesn't want to dress to impress on the bench...he'd rather sit in his warm-ups.
Musselman had the same injury in his past and he said his finger is basically dead cuz he rushed back. He won't let Bibby this roadtrip IMO.
I must have missed the article where the doctors declared Peja fit to play. Or maybe Dr. Bricklayer wrote that one?
Dr. Bricklayer has apparently played a lot more sports than you, and Dr. Bricklayer has experienced virtually every standard injury these guys go through. Sprains, jams, breaks, ligament tears, separations, you name it.
Dr. Bricklayer will also note that since there was no report on how long Peja would have to sit out he was listed as day to day.
FYI, I'm in school to be a doctor. So I'm not really "pretending" I'm in training.I love it when Kings fans pretend they are doctors.

Are they teaching you how to diagnose people by reading symptoms in a newspaper? Because that would be really useful for a Kings message board. Some people are even practicing without a degree.
PS: Smills, according to your profile you're APPLYING for DENTAL school. Yes, you are clearly qualified indeed.
Oh please. This is taking nit-picking to a previously unheard of level and around here, that's saying something.
It would be really nice if you could quit sniping at people and maybe just address the topic at hand.
I pointed out that there WAS, in fact, an article that clearly stated that Peja took perhaps much longer to "recover" from his pinkie than was common.
And there has been at least one article that detailed what Bibby's injury was.
"Dr." Bricklayer and Smills have valid points. Instead of attacking them personally, why not address those points?
Thanks.
Oh, yes, clearly. I will strive to be more like Bricklayer and address points directly instead of attacking people personally. Or maybe I should emulate you?
