My vote goes to Kobe Bryant. I know Steve Nash is having a better season than he has in the previous two years. But for where the Lakers are right now 27-15 compared to where they were the previous two years 23-19 in '06 and 23-19 on their way to going 11-29 down the stretch, Kobe on the floor is responsible.
And to see how Bryant has dialed down his game and how it has made the Lakers Western Conference contenders WITHOUT LAMAR ODOM, speaks volumes.
I hate the Lakers, but Bryant is the best player in the league hands down.
