Sun-Sentinel - Pat Riley said he does not expect the Heat to make a trade by Thursday's 3 p.m. NBA deadline.

"I'm not inclined to do anything," he said, "because this team, to me, has enough when they're motivated. When they're motivated, they've shown so many great qualities."

Riley was asked about Ruben Patterson, who has stated a preference for a trade to the Heat.

"We've not had any discussions at all," he said of the defensive-minded Trail Blazers forward.

Wouldn't of posted that Delk story had this not come out after... I personally think the Heat would be smart to add Delk or Patterson. Both would add versatility and a good spark off the bench that the Heat currently lack.

Also, talk about his past (I know most of it, it bad), but Patterson's been fine and playing very well since coming back from suspension in December.

I'd say merge the Delk thread with this...
