Dirk Nowitzki is less than three months away from his 40th birthday and has missed just one game all season. Nowitzki is dealing with tendinitis in his left knee that has hampered his recent performances, and how the knee feels Tuesday will determine if he plays against the Kings. "Dirk is a little banged up, but I think he's going to be OK," coach Rick Carlisle told reporters.
