The Bee Comment pages are kind of like Mos Eisley - you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. I head in there every so often to lightsaber some arms off, but the whole experience is not necessarily for the faint of heart.

All comment pages are like that and it is most likely just a handful of thugs with multiple accounts. We're just about to complete our successful MLS inaugural season up here in Portland, every game sold out, expanded capacity going into effect for 2 of the remaining 3 games and almost every article online is swarmed by jerks, naysayers and creeps.

The good news is that the important players in Sacramento all seem to be playing ball and the Maloofs other option really doesn't look better now. I really think this gets done even if the season is lost and it seems like that might be moving in the right direction too. The next year the entire political debate is likely to center on jobs and this deal will likely ride that train to the finish.
