Cal Expo Arena Plan Expected Next Week

The Sacramento Kings will open the second half of the season with Atlanta on Wednesday night. The bigger news will come next week when the Cal Expo arena plan is unveiled.

The NBA, along with city and state officials, are expected to present their plan for a new state of the art arena at Cal Expo on February 27.

If the Maloofs plan to play elsewhere next year they have until March 1 to submit a relocation application to the league.

This fact was stated in an article a couple of weeks ago at the writers whim. There has been NOTHING stated by the organization to believe that submitting a relocation form by March 1st this year is a concern of theirs.

It's just more alarmism.
