The Los Angeles Lakers signed star guard Kobe Bryant to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Monday. Financial terms of the deal were not announced by the Lakers, but ESPN Los Angeles reported that Bryant will remain the NBA's highest-paid player. Per the report, Bryant is scheduled to make $23.5 million next season and $25 million in the second year of the contract. Bryant, who is recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, will make $30.4 million this season before the extension kicks in.
