Kobe Puts Kings in Top 5, But Not Others

Kobe told the NBA Shootaround crew during his 30 min interview that the Kings were in his Top 5 Teams in the NBA. Along with us were SA, Wolves,Dallas, and Seatlle I THINK. (Someone rememmber?)
All I know is when he said Sacramento, the WHOLE shootaround crew went "WHAT!?!" and thought that Miami should be ahead of us and that we werent a top 5 team.

We play Miami pretty soon... maybe we will change their minds.

I just thought it was interesting to see them pick an Eastern team over the Kings, even if they have shaq and some kid named wade.

Opinions?

My top 5 would go from best to worst:

1. Spurs
2. Wolves
3. Kings
4. Pheonix
5. Seattle

Top 10

6. Miami
7. Dallas
8. Cleveland
9. Orlando
10. Washington

The shootaround guys are dumb if they think that Miami is better than we are. Right now i would say that your #3 spot should be a tie betweeen us, Phoenix and Seattle.

I was just thinking the same. I also think that he knows Sacramento Kings a little better than any of the "shootaround guys".

This is just weird.

Last year all the national media gave us a lot of respect. Some picked us to win it all. Our local media AV, MM, JD just hammered the Kings.

This year the exact opposite. The national media basically thinks we suck and now we have AV talking good things about the Kings.

I think this is a sign! I would recommend stocking up on Water, canned foods, spam, and matches... Why not mix in some cards and pokerchips 2.

Seriously, only Miami fans can put Miami ahead of Sacramento. I know they've got Shaq and all, but they are not THAT great......
Plus most of their games are played vs. eastern conference team. And I don't think we need to discuss eastern conference....

Exactly!! But I will say this- I like when B.S.P.N underates us. Not to mention it was so fun watching all of them eat their words last year during the Finals when they said things like ,"well there is no way Detroit is gonna win this game." every game the whole series!~until about halfway thru the second to last game, when they had to do a complete 180 and start praising the pistons. I'm sure if you asked half of them before this year started they'd pick the Heat to win it all! "Experts"?? Yeah right.

Its not just them, TNT's crew also craps on the Kings. Until we when the championship it will never be any different. It should be that way though b/c the Kings are so damn talented anything less is way below what they're capable of.
