Update: The Bobcats are entertaining trade offers for Knight with the emergence of Raymond Felton, the Charlotte Observer reports.
Recommendation: "There's a lot of interest in Brevin," coach-general manager Bernie Bickerstaff told the Observer on Thursday during a break at the pre-draft camp at Disney's Wide World of Sports. Bickerstaff said he had spoken with both the Raptors and the Trailblazers about Knight.

Pro's
1. Quicker afoot than Bibby and better able to stay in front of people
2. Avg's over 2 steals a game
3. Will give you about 9 assists (with starters minutes)

Con's
1. Physically small and suseptable to posting PG's
2. Will miss games due to injury
3. At 31 years old, how long will the quickness last
4. Can't play two midgets (Bibby and Knight) at the same time, and are there enough minutes for both players?

Can say the same thing about getting B-Jax as well.

I really got into Knight in 04-05, and really wanted to see us get him last summer. But got Hart and I was fine with that till he didn't really show too much for us. So, I'd still be into getting BK. He's not a good shooter, but he brings what we need in the other areas.

Is he under contract or a free agent?

Since when is Bibby a midget. He's listed at 6' 2", but he's around 6' 1". I've stood next to him and he has me by a little and I'm 6'. That's not a midget for the PG position.

I think he'd be less prone to injury with a back-up role, rather than starting the past 2 seasons. B-Jax, as we know, sometimes his style hurts him.

I'd be fine with either, just an upgrade over Hart. ;)

I would say that 6'1" is definitely on the small end for a PG and a bona-fide midget for a SG, which he would have to play with Knight on the floor. Would argue that Bibby's really a SG anyway, just trapped in a PG's body.

It would be great if we could get him as a backup, but im not sure if he wants to be a backup, after all he is a good point guard. He is also good enough to start on certain teams.

He didn't say that, he said if he gets less minutes here (in Charlotte) he'd like to be on a playoff team. I think it'd be better for him to have a more limited role as a back-up to take less wear on the body. Dallas/Minny may have an open spot for starting if they don't re-sign Terry/Banks. Assuming Minny does indeed get it together ;). Can't see Cleveland breaking up the chemistry and trading Snow, especially with his play in the post-season. Grizzlies have Stoudamire, and haven't heard about him being moved. Grizzlies would go down a level if they deal Stoudamire anyways, as with him this past season, they were going great, then went down a level there-after.

Indiana would be the best place for him to start, as Tinsley is uncertain with his injury trouble, doubt they give it to AJ, and Saras isn't fit for it. Indy has the pieces to get him too. Houston? Don't really know what they're doing with Alston... but seems like it's up in the air to me. Lakers? Not sure his size would attract Phil, but his game would, I think.

Look I rate Knight as a play maker. He can set up his team mates almost as well as anyone out there.

However, there are a few things that our back up PG must be able to do. One of those things is to be a consistent 3 point shooter. I keep going back to Petrie's remarks after the season ended. He wants to get more perimeter threats on the roster so that teams don't pack inside against us. Knight can't shoot the 3. He a good on the ball defender but he is undersized and can be easily posted up by other PGs.

IMHO, our back up PG should be able to create for others, play some good D and knock down 3s. Someone that will give us a spark off the bench. I don't see Knight fitting that criteria.

Bibby for Brezec, Ely, Knight?

It works, but I don't think Charlotte would do it, with them wanting to move Felton into the starting role.

Maybe a 3rd team involved?
