KingsFans "Official" Fantasy Basketball 2019-20

This is year NINETEEN (19) of the KingsFans "Official" Fantasy Basketball League, a weekly scoring league that has been run since before KingsFans was KingsFans.

I've started the league nice and early this year so there should be plenty of time for people to indicate interest and join. For this league we like to have as many players as possible.

• If you'd like to join the league, just post here in the thread or start a conversation (aka send me a PM). I will be taking people first come, first served, but it's likely anybody will be able to join as this league has historically had many teams.
  
  
• Please note that I'd prefer only current or former KingsFans.com members.
• The current draft time is set for Sat Oct 12 4:30pm PDT. I may push it a week if we still are looking for more players.
• I have sent returning player invites. If you see this and don't plan to play please let me know.

Here are the most important settings. Let me know if you're curious about any of the others, although we generally keep the same settings every year.

Draft Type: Live Standard Draft
Draft Time: Sat Oct 12 4:30pm PDT
Scoring Type: Head-to-Head
Weekly Deadline: Weekly on Monday
Roster Positions: PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, C, Util, Util, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN
Players Stat Categories: FG%, FT%, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK, TO
Playoffs: I adjust the number of playoff teams depending on the size of the league. If there are 8-12 teams, we will have 4 playoff teams. For 14 or 16 teams we will have 6 playoff teams. For an 18 or 20 team league we will have 8 playoff spots.

NOTE: This is a Weekly league, meaning you set your rosters once for the week and cross your fingers. I may have another KingsFans league that allows Daily roster edits, let me know if you're interested.

Yep! Yahoo is actually quite good at default ranking players for you. If you have your own preferences or a different site whose rankings you prefer, you can change their defaults before the draft starts and they'll follow your preferences.

There are always at least a few people who don't make the draft time and use the auto-draft, sometimes many. For basketball I don't think it puts you at much of a disadvantage.

We currently have 11 teams. Despite conflicting messages from Yahoo I've been assured that if we don't fill the 12th spot the draft will go on as planned. We will have to fill the 12th autodrafted spot after the draft, though.
