Greetings, fellow Kings fans!!

Tonight it's the Warriors turn to come into Arco and face the young and fun Kings. :)

No, I haven't lost my mind and I'm not expecting the Kings to become this year's Cinderella story, but the last two games have shown me that they are going to make the most of their home games.

Right off, I'd like to remind people about the Contributing Member program:

Kingsfans.com is a great place to come to catch up on the latest discussions, talk about your hopes and/or fears for the team, etc. We have some fantastic members who really know the game of basketball and we have newcomers who are able to join in and learn more about the game we love. All are welcome to our family-friendly board.

All this is possible because of the generosity and dedication of our board owner. If you would like to help defray the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running as the #1 Sacramento Kings internet community, please consider becoming a Contributing Member You're under no obligation, of course, but our Contributing Members do receive things like larger avatars, custom user titles, and first chance at tickets to group events, such as attending the opening night game at Arco with some of your favorite KF posters.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled PBP... :p

It rained A LOT here in the forest last night. I could almost hear the reservoirs starting to rise from all the run-off. It's beautiful outside right now, with the crisp air and bright blue sky making it a perfect fall day.

I love living up here in the forest, with clean air, peace and quiet but right now I'd love to be closer to Sacramento. If I was, I'd be at every Kings home game. I just hope more people take the opportunity to get out there and root for the kids while they're still learning the ropes.

Now, I have coffee to brew and some things to do around the old homestead so I'll be back at game time.

Let's get ready for some Kings basketball!

Remember, it's all about heart and hustle, energy and enthusiasm!!!

GO KINGS!!!

Is there anything better for a nice Sunday evening than watching some Kings basketball? You know, if there is I certainly can't think of it right away...

Nice pre-game chat between Grant and Kevin. He truly has the heart and hustle, not to even mention the energy, excitement and enthusiasm! And he's serious about stepping up and doing everything he can to help his team and his teammates. I absolutely cannot say enough about how good that is to hear.

Starting lineups:

Kings - Udrih, Martin, Salmons, Moore and Miller

GSW - Watson, Azubuike, Jackson, Wright and Biedrins

Tip to GSW.

Biedrins goes inside, spins twice, loses the ball, catches it back, gets the bucket and a +1 (Udrih) because no one knew what he was doing or where he'd go.

End of the first half.

63-57 KINGS

If we keep up this pace, I think we're guaranteed a win because we have more warm bodies on our bench than they do.

;)

I always forget how irritating Don Nelson is. He'd drive me nuts if he were our coach. I so dislike the idea that yelling obscenities at your own players is a good motivational tool.
