Kings-Warriors PBP for March 18

Greetings, fellow Kings fans!

Morning reports say Artest may not play because of stiffness in his arm. No word yet on Hawes or Salmons. If none of them play, this is not gonna be a pretty game. And the number of Warriors fans who will undoubtedly bless Arco with their presence is not going to be much fun, either.

Yes, we used to travel to "Arco West" when the Kings were kings of Northern California and the Warriors mere bumps on the road but it just isn't the same when they're the ones doing the invading.

I'll be back before game time with the lineups - or before if I hear anything about potential roster shifts.

Okay, I'm gonna be honest...

The odds of me actually doing the PBP for the Kings-Warriors game dropped to about a bajillion to one against the minute I realized the Celtics-Rockets game is on TNT starting at 6:30 p.m.

I'm a Kings fan, but let's be serious here. I may check in after the Rockets game but I am not going to be doing a PBP tonight.

I'd love to see Rick, Bobby and Justin (oh yeah, and those other guys) beat the record of the Jerry West era Lakers. Not much chance it'll happen, but I'll be rooting for Houston too.

Just had to ask, since I knew you were a Celtics fan back in the day.

I'll still be rooting for the Celtics to get all the way this year but I'd love to see Adelman and Co. at least make it to the WCF.

And I'm watching the Kings game right now. I actually thought about doing the PBP but figured it might be a little anti-climatic.
