Kings vs. Lakers in playoffs will never be the same.

Jeremy is the only one who can fix those dates. We've had a number of requests for it. He's pretty busy. Hopefully, he'll get a chance to get to it when he has more time.

Okay, we blew out the Cav's...I understand your jealousy. Time today for some gloating for Kings, okay. But "Kings aren't built properly"? That's a new one! We are 'building' quite nicely, thank you. How's that "LAKER REBUILDING" thang going?

Not as bad as most people would hope. Are they playing for the title this year?...highly unlikely, but only a 4 game difference from this same time last year. With 1 returning starter, 9 new players and a new coach and system.... hey, at least we didn't go the "rebuilding" way of the Bulls! ;)
 
I agree, Lakers rebuilding has been a success so far this season. I did think they would be a much better passing team though as they have some good passers in Odom, Kobe and Vlade. Too bad Vlade is out of the picture right now. Now all they need is a consistent PG that's a good playmaker and a decent center and they will be in the thick again. I think Kobe tries to do too much and consequently hurts the team.

But weren't you playing really crappy ball this time last year...ahem... for Lakers? You didn't clinch your #3 playoff berth until the very last game, and you needed an uncharachteristic loss by Kings to Warriors to do it.

Albeitrue, Lakers are surely in the hole with 4 new starters, but we've had the same old starters for five years now, or so I've heard...;) Okay, we are down to four original starters, but have 8 new guys on the roster. I'm not familiar with the rebuilding of the Bulls, unfortunately. Are you referring to immediately post- MJ? Wasn't that awhile ago? Hey, didn't you guys just get beat by the Bulls? :p
 
lakers are nothing without shaq.... their rebuilding hasnt been that bad because they didnt lose kobe... the bulls lost everyone. if ak-47 had gotten injured their rebuilding would have been a lot better looking... if houston and minny didnt suck.... well the lakers would just be 2 or 3 games ahead of the clippers and out of the playoff race. good job so far though.

Wait, who says the Kings will even beat the Lakers this postseason? Scoreboard is 1-1, with a blowout at Arco no less. ;)

But seriously, if the Lakers do meet the Kings this postseason, it'll be no where near as good as years past. No Vlade. No Christie. No Shaq. No Phil. Lakers are now coached by someone you can't hate, and it's hard to hate guys like Butler or Odom either. You can easily hate Kobe, but that's it.

I'm sort of sad to see it all over with. Then again, there are always new competitors rising up.

She tells no lie, nAj jAn. The oxygen-deficient blood coursing through my legs and feet right now is purplish. I also wake up at least once a night to go secrete gold.

Anyway,I think the Kings V Lakers will be better the next time around,if nothing else funner to watch we wont have to grimace as Snaq O'Fat puts a punishing elbow in the nose of wichever King player is unfortunate enough to get matched up with him.Also dont count out the Purple and Gold yet, they are young guns who can put 104 on the board with Kobe on crutches and have won 2 of 3 since Kobe got hurt and lets not forget the Lakers beat Cavs without Kobe thats saying something.... oh wait thats the east never mind lol.LONG LIVE KINGS V LAKERS RIVALRY basketball wouldnt be the same without it.
